In September 2007, on the auspicious occasion of Vinayagar Chaturthi, a young doctor couple from a humble village background took their first step toward a dream that would eventually grow into a comprehensive healthcare institution.
What began as a modest clinic at Perumal Koil Street, Swarnapuri, under the name Dr. Sharmila Senthil Kumar Fertility and Surgical Clinic, was built on a simple but powerful belief: quality medical care should be accessible, ethical and compassionate to everyone.
Nearly two decades later, that small beginning has evolved into Starmed Health Centre, a modern hospital offering comprehensive care across Obstetrics, Gynaecology, Fertility, Urology, Andrology, Nephrology, Paediatrics and General Surgery.
